Same here. At one point in July I started work on an ark.

Autumn is my favorite season. It will probably take a few more weeks before it starts to make itself felt here in New England.

Same here.  Actually, hotter and more humid then in July and August.  And....the mosquitoes are terrible right now.  Usually, there aren't any at this time of year.

I agree, Mike. At first it's possible to shrug it off - let's wait and see. Then we start to make uneasy jokes about it; finally a sort of gritty despondency sets in.

But today the sun was shining in York, where we spent the day, eating lunch and drinking tea outside in delectable locations, and perfectly warm. So that's something.

Here in the west of germany, this week many people think about starting the heating season. I came home an hour ago, it's now 18°C/64°F here at home in my house, I'm unwilling to heat, I have blankets

In Canada, we don't start the heat until it's at least -10 C
