The American people want Greg to have his own island and to never leave it, hence the sharks-infested waters.

We are all Britons. And I am your king.

Well I didn't vote for you.

(I just watched that movie last week with my daughter, who first saw portions of it in school when they were learning about Medieval England.  :D)

Just ran into this beauty:

Miscast. If you fail to cast a spell, there'll be a 20% chance of some unexpected effect instead. A nice touch of realism.
Peanut butter, flour and sugar do not make cookies. They make FIRE.

Anyone who's ever watched Buffy the Vampire Slayer knows that.   ;D

This is so odd... ever have completely random people try to talk to you on myspace? At first I thought it was spam, but looks like a real person. Now I wonder if (hate to say this if it isn't true) she's a prostitute.   ??? :D I mean, nowadays, why wouldn't they try to do their business online? It would be safer, wouldn't it?
I figured it out... really advanced spam!  :o
(kinda like that jack123 member we just had)

here's the message I got back (not even acknowledging my odd comment about beating up homeless people with baseball bats)

So I visited the site and there aren't any bad pics, but to "add as her as a friend" it takes you to the signup page. I entered a bunch of fake information and then it takes you to another page. They need your credit card number in order to get you to have a "free membership to try it out."

So, right now, I'm reporting the site to the Web of Trust add-on, since no one has rated it yet, as I guess it's a brand-new scam. This way, when people visit the site, the wheel should be red and people will know.  :)

If you fail to do any number of things, there is a substantial chance of some unexpected effect.

(Just saying.)

Let this be named the First Henning Law of Not Doing. And the First Law of Doing is like unto it, thus:

If you do any number of things, there is a substantial chance of some unexpected effect.

My name is Henning. And I approve this message.

Lo! Here we haveth a Great Sign. For I did a veritable Number of Things (namely, one), and have achieved Some Unexpected Effect. Thus is the Prophecy fulfilled.

My message sent: "wow, spam, nice job!"
Checked my inbox- says the message was read (no reply).
Hilarious.  :D

I would sincerely like to apologize for any apologies I might have apologized for. Unless it concerned Mike.

karlhenning

I'd only offer a sorry excuse for an apology, anyway.

MN Dave

I only listen to HIP Bernstein.

knight66

MNDave, Not sure I accept your apologiy for an apology, (if that is what it was),.....it displeases me when people are more amusing than I am.

>:(

Mike
DavidW: Yeah Mike doesn't get angry, he gets even.
I wasted time: and time wasted me.

I'm sure you're in a constant state of displeasure.

No, my diary for 19th Feb 2004 confounds that theory.

And here I was going to say, I'm sure that never happens . . . .
