He would move heaven and earth to console me; he would send me food parcels containing the most delicious things he knew, to cheer me up; he would ask World Leaders to write to me, assuring me of their condolences, and those of the nations they represent; he would ask leading songwriters to compose songs with titles like 'Oh Mike, Please Don't Stub Your Toe Any More' and 'Toe Stubber Blues' on my behalf.

But he's dead, so NOW get on with it.
