This morning I visited everyone at school during their 15-minute break. Then, it turns out there was a substitute teacher, so I just went to class and played Halo with everyone. Technically, it was probably illegal tresspassing since I'm not a student there anymore, but none of the subs ever keep track of anything or say anything about us playing video games.
So, yeah, I actually did it, finally!

An interesting posit.  But I'm not so sure your marking highlights ALL the weaknesses in his argument.  All I can say is it started out promisingly, but it really sagged in the middle, and by the end I put some Ligeti on to cheer me up.  Yes, it is a valid argument Elgarian, but the process by which Dave makes his case for 'blah' could be strengthened immensely by adding two more blahs and taking out that one which you indicate.  Then, I think, he will be able to take this well formed theory and publish it forthwith.  Of course, it is just what the World wants to hear, its a no-brainer that his advancement of the blah principle will reach a Worldwide audience.

I take your point, John. I think we both agree that it's very close to being better than it might have been if it had been worse. The danger in making it available so publicly though, is the risk of plagiarism. Here we are, just 3 weeks or so from a General Election, and I'm sorry to say that a very large number of British politicians must have been reading this thread and stealing Dave's ideas - without, I'm sorry to say, acknowledging their sources.

Yes Elgarian, I agree completely.  It is mostly coming from the Labour Party, but the Blah principle has spread to the Tories now, and it wont be long before my right wing pals in the Lib Dems pick up on Daves Post too.
