This is what I did today: made an alien chestburster out of paper mache. Top that!  8)

It's for my Halloween costume. Next job is to paint the thing. Pictures to follow in a few days...

Nice Ben! :)  I'm working on an origami alien.  I felt pleased with myself for finishing the pleats in the tail last night. :)

Next time I fold this I'll do with foil so that I can actually shape the legs, arms, and tail.  The paper got really thick on me!

Yeah it does, doesn't it? :D  That's the thing with origami the final figure doesn't emerge until the very end. :)

Woops I had the name wrong!  Gilgado.  Stupid typo.

Okay Giger = the vision, Gilgado = origami designer, me = folder, you = the audience. :)

It's weird to look through a book of Giger's work, and to feel that he was basically arcing towards set design for a Ridley Scott movie : )
