Guess! ; )
Shostakovich 10th symphony conducted by Mariss Jansons and the Philadelphia Orchestra.

Opus106

He listened to Haydn (QM in the SQ) in the morning, and is now considering some RVW symphony. The 7th, I'd guess. (This could be a game with its own thread, you know.)

Could either be a very fun game, or a very frustrating one.

Either way, looking forward to the answer! :D

I feel there should be a radio/tv voice over saying to stay tuned in after the brief messages to find out the answer......

....the last thing GMG needs is commercials........

Good question............perhaps what certain members think about topics of music?

Karl really is the master of suspense.......

Sorry! Soon as I got home, I had to take a nap.

I was thinking of Bilbo, who while engaged in the riddle contest with Gollum asked himself out loud, What have I got in my pocket? . . . which in turn Gollum took up as a last riddle.

And all of your guesses were good guesses . . . only I was in a different environment.  And (not that it is of any great interest) it was whatever music happened to be playing out of the shop's P.A. system.

;D
It's not just dumb people, though; it seems more normal to misspell it than to spell it correctly. Almost everyone seems to misspell it (except for the people here, for some reason).

Speaking of "too"... "too" and "to." It seems no one gets that one, either.
It might be that half of the time, people know the difference but are just being absent-minded. It's just irritating. It really gets old. How do you look at that and not be irritated? I really would like to know. It would greatly help, because it also gets a bit old being irritated constantly because of people.

Does anyone know how one would translate "quintrahmen" from German to English?  Would it just basically Framework of a fifth?
