One of the (few) disadvantages of the instrument.

My source sells the Red Label's I order for my school basses for $66.00 per set.

The Dominants I would want for my own bass are about $200.00.

I went up to Shar to get my bows repaired/rehaired, and needed new strings.  They didn't carry the extension of the Bel Canto's that I like, so I got the A, D, and G.  Came to around $173.  The extended C string costs $96 from Lemur.........good thing Bass strings last longer......

Good lawd!
I had to look this one up.  :(
I wonder how many acronyms I know. Considering my field, I've probably learned a couple hundred in the last 3 years. I flip on facebook and the first post I see uses a new acronym: "oc" = "original content."

So, did you find it? (before seeing that it was created - or at least popularized - by Karl

I have to conduct some interviews this morning at work. And one from the past continues to enter my mind every time, it was years ago, and on a woman's resume I was interviewing she wrote as part of her cover letter... "I'm pregnant with ideas."

Many jokes and punchlines ensued.
