How do you like it?

The only thing I've listened to so far off of it is 'Warsaw' but it is very good. I haven't heard any other version so I have nothing to compare it to but the vocals are outstanding.

That is a fine Warsaw.  I don't know offhand who the performers were in the two other recordings I've heard of the piece.  We performed it in Charlottesville; wonderful experience!  (Even if it was probably not quite the finest of the performances I have heard.)

What else is on the disc? There's got to be more than this, and the Vn Cto . . . .

op. 132--second time around--will be interested to see if their performance still strikes me as eccentric, original, and refreshing

And...and...?  ;D

I have an LP from long ago with two or three of the quartets, but haven't acquired this CD release.  It would be interesting to revisit that recording after not having heard it in a long time, and having heard much more of Carter's work in the meantime.

I don't have the Juilliard version.  How does it compare with the Arditti, Pacifica, or Composer Quartet versions?

This is all new to me, so I really can't answer that question, sorry. I have only this one and the composer QT version and haven't compared them yet, nor would I know even how to compare this kind of music.
