My first experience with Vanda. A very charming piece in the best early-Dvorak style. Written in 1875, the same year as the Fifth Symphony.

From what I've heard so far (on the first Dance), an old but lively reading! Fun all around :)

A nice performance, just a pity that the playing is on the slow side and rather laid back.

But whatever my reservations: as far as I know this is the only game in town....

CD8 from the below set - piano concertos no. 4 and 5. I have not listened much to these concertos earlier, but now I will have a small session. These performances by Aimard are supposed to be on the alternative side.
