Quote from: Der lächelnde Schatten on June 03, 2025, 07:56:13 PMOh, that's very cool, Karl. Nice job! This could definitely be used in a horror film.

I "composed" a little piece myself (I hope you don't mind me sharing it in your composer thread):

Also, please use headphones.
I'm calling it a night, but will listen tomorrow, thanks.

Quote from: Karl Henning on June 03, 2025, 10:21:48 AMWell, things do happen, of course. They reached out apologetically by phone (I got vx-mail) so it wasn't that I was forgotten, which is good. The worst of it was, that I sat comfortably on a bench waiting for (this morning) nothing. Not genuinely bad, IOW. And, my interviewee now feels a mild obligation to me. I'll call it a net plus.
The meeting was fine. I now have a folder of paper I've brought home to fill out at my leisure.

Well, that's good!  Were you offered a job?  Or is it now a case of you giving them an idea of what you are an expert in?

My impression is that they'll have me work, and all that wants doing is getting the papers in order.
But I may have it backwards and they want all the papers done before anything else.

Well, especially things like interviews/paperwork....doctor's offices (!) ask.  Just do it; and you can.  :) I have faith in you.
