Your Petersburg Nocturne is in some very good company there!

Will there be a recording?

I suspect there won't be an "official" document, but I'll try a phone capture.
Separately, revisiting this:

Well, my interviewee is not in the building, somehow, so we need to reschedule.

That's strange!  Out sick perhaps?  :(

Best,

Did you receive a telephone call before making the trip?  I hope so, but I suspect...probably not.

No, they were in another building. I got apologetic voice-mail, and we've rescheduled for tomorrow.
air conditioners to be installed tomorrow, too.

That is rather bizarre. Sounds like something from a horror film. "I'm not in the building, but the rotting corpses in the broom closet will keep you company. But, let's reschedule for tomorrow. 9:30, okay?" :D

Are the air conditioners to be installed at your place or at the school (if chez vous, you need to coordinate the timing)?

At home. The schedule will work. My neighbor Bill and his grandson are doing the work. My hope is that they will be timely enough not to interfere with my getting to the Henning Ensemble rehearsal.

Well, things do happen, of course. They reached out apologetically by phone (I got vx-mail) so it wasn't that I was forgotten, which is good. The worst of it was, that I sat comfortably on a bench waiting for (this morning) nothing. Not genuinely bad, IOW. And, my interviewee now feels a mild obligation to me. I'll call it a net plus.

Sure. I think you now have the upper-hand. A great position to be in for sure. I don't think you'll need it, but, again, good luck to you --- I think you'll ace that interview with flying colors.

Hey @Karl Henning have you ever composed a piece for a possible horror film or that could be used for a film in this genre? I was thinking of how Stanley Kubrick used Penderecki, Ligeti, Bartók et. a. for the soundtrack of The Shining and I have always admired his usage of these composers' work. It plays so well with the imagery on the screen.

It wasn't how I thought about the piece as I was composing it, but afterwards I thought it just might suit:

Oh, that's very cool, Karl. Nice job! This could definitely be used in a horror film.

I "composed" a little piece myself (I hope you don't mind me sharing it in your composer thread):
