For our UK neighbo(u)rs:

A friend sent me e-mail that "the United Kingdom has removed the teaching of the Holocaust from textbooks because it offends their Muslim population."

Is it so?

'tis an old tale.  univ of ky and/or united kingdom are accused of it.
i question why moslems would be offended, they had nothing to do with it.

No, it is not true. We did discuss this some time ago when it was wrongly reported that one local authority had removed Holocaust teaching.

I read somewhere recently that the Holocaust is a compulsory part of the UK high school curriculum.
