Seems like it would do that on any day.  ;)  Great set.

I just realized that I didn't post this in the Jazz listening thread. Forgot where I was. Oh well.

No harm in cross posting it over there  ;)

Yeah, I miss the days when it all just got posted here. Easier to find/keep track of one thread.

Yeah, me too, earlier this week.  Bob Dylan's favorite blues singer.  I love the early acoustic blues recordings.

My Bloody Valentine - MBV (2013)

I have that CD sitting in front of me on my desk Simon and have been meaning to have a re-listen to it.
What did you make of this release and how do you think it compares to earlier MBV material?.
My Brother told me MBV may be releasing a new album soon... :)

First listen: I thought that MBV album was excellent. I may even play it again later today.

A double CD album. I probably won't get to the second CD tonight

Live recordings, with piano being almost the only instrument on most tracks.  The audience sometimes joins in the singing.

Did CD2 of this tonight. The last 8 of 16 tracks are studio recordings, including "orchestral" versions, but still  about as good as the live tracks.

(All the lyrics, btw, are Hebrew. The CD digipak includes the words of only one, in English.,)
