This album was something of a rite of passage for Taylor. It was produced by Peter Asher and recorded under the Apple label [he was the first name signed to the then new label]. Paul McCartney and the Aeolian String Quartet make appearances. For me the stand out songs are Carolina in my Mind and The Blues is just a Bad Dream which has some fine guitar playing.
