The Erato setis especially full of commissioned pieces.

That was my main motivation for getting the Warner box. I don't need more recordings of the Dvorak (although I think both boxes contain more than one).

I haven't gotten into streaming services. I would probably consider it if they offered lossless compression.

Some of them do, but it's generally the pricier option. Tidal is known for it. A bit of googling established there are a number of others, including Qobuz and the top tier at Deezer.

The FLAC format seems to be the one in use.
Every single post on the forum is unnecessary. Including the ones that are interesting or useful.

I guess I should consider it, then. My giant unlistened-to pile argues against it. But I still end up buying stuff despite the unlistened-to pile. The question is whether it would extinguish my buying habit and pay for itself.

My problem with streaming is not related to compression rates, but something more basic.  It uses up data, and I would be hitting the data limit for my tablet fairly quickly.

Anyone else feel that his face could stand to be a good larger on that cover?

Ah! I remember having the cassette version in the early 80's!

Some more electronic stuff. I realised the Gottfried Michael Koenig CDs I have were volumes 1 & 2 of a series but got to 8 & 9 before finding any samples that really grabbed me.

To get free postage added this which does have some choirs and a mass in the latter parts.

The old guys are either downsizing housing or dying off and their record collection are up for grabs.
My local b&m (Sikoras) is clearing out lingering inventory, a couple of  Koch cds at half the usual price for used discs.
