9/11 was a govt strategy to invade for middle eastern oil, but was it immoral?

It's threads like these that remind me that it's a good thing I usually don't visit GMG on weekends.  ;D

Might as well put it all on hold again guys until Sean passes through our orbit once more; possibly next week.

Mike

Mike,

Why did Sean leave us?

knight66

Unfortunately I have no special insights into the question. Perhaps he has gone on a Christmas pilgrimage round some abattoirs. Whatever it is he is doing will no doubt provide fodder for chewing over in the near future.

DavidW: Yeah Mike doesn't get angry, he gets even.
I wasted time: and time wasted me.

he'll be back

When Sean returns, we should strive to provide him with a more nurturing and stimulating environment .......

Unfortunately, cattle aren't capable of nurturing, in the sense that Sean needs it. It's nice to have aspirations though... ;)

i say, lets ban sean.

No need for such a draconian action. If his posts upset you, you yourself can ban him with a finger on the scroll function of your pointing device. You don't know if other GMG members want to read his posts; you have no right to deprive them of their interest.  :D

Odd that some people get banned just for being irritating while others can muse about activities that could earn a 40 year sentence in a federal penitentiary and we should just scroll down.    :P

He got too close to the truth, fortunately he did not know that several of us here are agents for the Mossad and the Trilateral Commission.  The threat has been neutralized.  Go about your business as usual

Uh Oh, I notice that people also tend to disappear soon after making disparaging remarks about Pierre Boulez.   :-[

Yes, better watch it.  Everyone knows that Serialist music is used to encode communications between various illuminati groups so any interference will not be tolerated

He may not have known it, but you can be damned sure that he suspected it. :)

Okay i just could not read all of this because it's long and i have heard all of it before, as have many of you. Conspiracy Theories are so easy to point out little things and forget big things.

For the U.S. to carry out an internal terrorist attack it would need to be a large-scale operation. Years of planning, involvement of many different people from many different government organizations and departments. Why haven't top ranking officials in the U.S. government come out and spill specific information that can be proved? They could make allot of money and also you would think their conscious would get the best of them after planning and carrying out this morally reprehensible act.

You also have to think about, is bombing 2 national landmarks with large casualty rates the most effective and best way to go about finding a way into Iraq. The seriously jeopardizes the power, integrity, and overall will of the people to comply with the government if their "plot" were to be uncovered. Yes the government does many shady things, this is just a step that i doubt they would take.

Also, if invading Iraq were so important that the government had to conjure up and carry out this huge plan, why are we not reaping some benefits? All the war has caused is trouble, money, and blood. The Presidents approval rating is now lower than ever, the Republican party has lost the Senate completely due to the war, the American people are pissed off, and now the Middle East hates us more than ever.

And more over, the Middle East had so many reasons to attack the U.S. They justifiable hate the U.S. and have been carrying out terrorist acts long before 9/11. What better way for a group of people to solidify their power than to attack an enemy, that was Bush's idea as well. And the U.S. is one hell of an enemy to attack. The U.S. has caused turmoil in the Middle East for the past 40 years. Iran, Iraq, S.A., Afghanistan, Pakistan, and ... have great reason to hate us. It's surprising that 9/11 did not happen sooner.

I am not saying that the government is giving out the right story, but it's for damn sure that they are not audacious enough or stupid enough to carry out the plan that you (Sean) suppose.

Sorry if these have already been pointed out, i guess i went on a little rant.

... Israel. Not so much caused turmoil in that country, but through its unwavering support of that country, the US has helped fuel Israel's descent into becoming the tinder box of the whole region. I've said it before and I'll say it again: If Israel really is God's 'promised land', then God either has a wicked sense of humour ... or hates Jews.
