J.S. Bach 7 + 1 = 8
Beethoven 3 - 2 = 1
Brahms 5
Mozart 3

Am I the only member who finds it a bit suspicious that Joyce joined recently and has only posted on this thread?

This lover of the divine Ludwig is a bit curious as to why someone - Joyce - should only join this board to kill him off?!  :(

I asked the mods to determine if Joyce was an exisiting member, but apparently it would take Rob quite a bit of time to find out.  :-\

Well, he would have to check all the logged IP addresses...

Now - we can only pray...  :o

J.S. Bach 8 + 1 = 9
Beethoven 2
Brahms 3
Mozart 3 - 2 = 1

This is kind of like trying to decide whether to take Matthew, Mark, Luke or John out of the Bible.

But nevertheless:

J.S. Bach  9
Beethoven 2 - 2 = 0 yer outta here!
Brahms 3
Mozart 1 + 1 = 2

Norbeone

J.S. Bach  9+1=10
Brahms 3
Mozart 2-2=0 Bye bye!

Joyce is a genuine new member and it would be good if we could encourage this brand spanking new member to post elsewhere and provide a welcome.

Good Lord what have we here  :o Bach vs. Brahms to the death!!  I am not sure I like this finale.  How did we ever get to this stage? , and what does this say about us? as music listeners?

That's more like taking Moses out of the Bible. Or God himself.

I couldn't get into this game, but I'm shocked about Brahms over Mozart. Really shocked.

Mark G. Simon

Hey guys, at this point, the choice is purely arbitrary.

Mozart may be the better composer by whichever standard you want to take, but in the end it comes to who do I listen to more? Neither, nowadays, really  ;D but in general it is Brahms that I'd pick up from a library if it consisted solely of these two composers. But against Bach he does not stand a chance of course >:D
