There will never be another era like the Golden Age of Hollywood.  We didn't know how to blow up buildings then so we had no choice but to tell great stories with great characters.-Ben Mankiewicz

No, Bill, that collection pales compared to mine  ;D  I'm holding off selling my vastness...it can only gain in value, and girth.

the phone rings and somebody says,
"hey, they made a movie about
Mahler, you ought to go see it.
he was as f*cked-up as you are."

I thought the room looked a bit small, but you can never tell with camera angles these days.

I think some bored billionaire should purchase it, set fire to the whole collection, compile a photo book that shows the process of disintegration and send it to the previous owner.

QuoteEvery genre of American music is represented: rock; jazz; country; R&B; blues; new age; Broadway and Hollywood; bluegrass; folk; children's; comedy; Christmas, and more. No other collection in the world – publicly or privately held – even comes close.

300000 cds with 50 minutes of music each ==> 28 years of uninterrupted bluegrass, new age, R&B, Musicals, folk, etc.
The guy should be hang on a public event, to discourage the endeavouring of such socially inefficient hobbies.
