Non-urgent, but weird. The YouTube page won't load, gives me a msg, You're offline. Check your connection. Not True. Anyone else experiencing this?

Karl, I'm a bit confused. Did you type this on the computer or your phone? Is it only YouTube that won't load, or is your computer really offline?

Assuming your computer is offline, how does your computer connect to the router? Wi-fi or ethernet cable?

I would try to clear the cache on the browser. Plan B is to open up my backup browser. Plan C is to reconfigure my VPN.

Karl, are you able to access other websites? And is your mail showing with no problems listed (as in no problem notifications next to your account(s)?

Cleared the cache (and deleted cookies, nuisance though I knew that would be.) 'm getting www.youtube.com's server IP address could not be found.

Amusingly, or not, the backup browser gets the same result.

I suspect that it might be a server-based issue (Just a guess here). Hopefully, it's just temporary. Hopefully, our more tech-savvy members might weigh in here.

Well, my brain is telling me that most likely, youtube didn't change it's address, so I suspect that it's a server or provider issue. For what it's worth, it can be harder (if not impossible) to access/do things if ones computer is older--but I suspect that isn't what you're dealing with here. You might try calling your internet company (though you might spend ages on the phone

).

Edit: Or maybe there's an issue at youtube's end. Have other people been able to post there today?
