I set up a new Sibelius file. Chamber Orchestra. No notes, yet.

My initial title for the Opus 192 was impossibly sentimental. I'm not averse to sentiment, but for this title, no. I decided that the best solution was to turn to Whitman, so the title is O singer, bashful and tender, I hear your notes. This afternoon, instead of sleeping after PT, I drew up a string fugato.

Most of me thinks I ought to apply myself to doing something else, but I keep listening to this fugato.

Eight Years Ago Today; and Yesterday, Arguably a Surprise

Just spent a frustrating hour trying to create a fresh CV. After rebuilding the document twice, I couldn't print it out because both sites proved a grift. I finally just created it from scratch.

Asking any money for something I know I ought to be able to do gratis, is too much. Plus  pulling this at the back end like this is *expletive*
Now, of course, while I've now got the document current, I'm finding really nothing suitable to apply to. Not every day is going to be a good day, I get that. Plus, every day after my stroke is a gift. I'll shake it off, and hope to hear from the first place after the holiday weekend.
