Have at it, ladies and gentlemen!

;D  ;D  ;D

Actually, there are —- two very good by Paul Wranitzky.

However, they cannot hold a candle to French or Russian composers of ballet music.

(I assume we're taking The Creatures of Prometheus as read)

Uhmmm, yes, that's actually four.

Blimey, I'm busted on my own terms!

Sigh!

There's also Strauss's Schlagobers which is very much in the line of The Nutcracker in its series of tasty treats.

Oh, and you've reminded me of R. Strauss' Joseph Legend.

Yes, and there are also his arrangements of other composers' music into balletic confections.

Jokes aside, this is indeed a very good ballet!

Wasn't joking - I think they are comparable in this way.

Oh, I wasn't joking either —- I think the same as you.

Yet, ballet music is mostly a Franco-Russian affair hands down.

Undine and Schlagobers have my vote. My third choice would be Reger's quasi-ballet Eine Ballett-Suite.
The current annihilation of a people on this planet (you know which one it is) is the most documented and at the same time the most preposterously denied.
