Yes, I have that Tracey album too.
The Ardley posted above has other material with texts by Yeats, Joyce and Lewis Carroll. It's a strange album, but I often enjoy weird stuff.  :D

Insomnium
Shadows of the Dying Sun

If in doubt, listen to melodic death metal with harsh vocals.

Preferably Insomnium.

I had to replace my MacBook last month and found the new one would consistently update the artwork on MP3s to the satisfaction of the car SD card player. The absence of some of the album covers always niggled me so I've spent some time fixing this and filling the 64 Gb card to capacity (about 6,000 tracks). The very last tunes to go on were psychedelia which is about where popular music starts for me. I've been selecting and playing just the tracks I like as I find all these albums a bit patchy.

Emmylou Harris:  Red Dirt Girl one of her best I think.

The song Red Dirt Girl is exceptionlly moving I think:

The whole album (I think) is one of her best....and she's created so much amazing music over the years.

Orchestra Peter Thomas: Orion 2000

Kitschy mid-70s big band instrumental jazz-funk with discordant synth noises and titles like Mars Close Up, Moontown, Rockin' Computer sounding like film or TV music. I'm trying to decide if it's actually dreadful enough to be great ;) .

I like so many of her Warner period, 1970s generally.  Her Angel Band is one, Roses in the Snow  and Blue Kentucky Girl as well.  But the one you posted is a fantastic record.  She is from Alabama, which is know for its red clay dirt. If memory serves she made that one with Buddy Miller, a wonderful songwriter, producer and guitarist in Nashville.

Your memory is still serving you well as Buddy Miller played on a number of the songs.  ;D

I have a CD set (4) called Portraits which has a number of her earlier recordings (which I should revisit) and also have a couple of Warner era LPs which I should pull out.  I also have about a half a dozen single CDs which I've enjoyed over the years.  Have you heard the Trios LPs/CDs?  I've been very tempted to get those two [For others here, if you didn't already know:  they are with her and Linda Ronstadt and Dolly Parton] and also the one with Mark Knopfler.

Because Emmylou Harris is one of my very favorite artists, I have heard all of her records, including the pair of Trio records (although my preferences are for her solo records).  Her work with Rodney Crowell is excellent, as was her album with Mark Knopfler.

Glad to see you posting about her work.  She is a treasure.
