K

Turn out it was the soundbar. If I use the TV speakers no visiting geese!

Uh, oh!  Do you need to get the soundbar fixed or replaced?  Or made some adjustments as to what it was sitting on?

And, well, at least no angry geese pecking at you....

It is not what it is sitting on because it didn't used to do that! I can't afford to replace it right now. I'll just put up with it.

Crumbs!  :(  Is it still under warranty...perhaps?  I was thinking (maybe not remembering accurately) that it was relatively newly purchased?

K

Haha no! I bought it years ago, it doesn't even receive updates anymore.

It's more in the areas of personality conflicts, leadership failure and incorrect/insufficient training.

A very unfortunate situation for everyone on ether side of the issue at hand. If I " win ", I'll still take damage which may well prove to be unsurvivable. If I lose, I'll almost certainly be retiring before my preparations for that status are complete.

😬

Hope that you find/think of/arrive at a different option.

Had Shingles vaccine 2 Thursday (you have to wait 60 days between the two shots).

Kicked my butt yesterday. Didn't sleep well Thursday night, was sore and achy all day Friday, and chills/fever Friday evening.

A little out of it today, but mostly better. All to be expected based on documentation, but it doesn't mean I have to enjoy it. :D

I believe that I am now completely free of Google, but I will keep my gmail open for a few more months just to make sure I haven't missed anything.

Impressive! I've had my original Gmail address since the invite days, and it's still my primary address, even though I have a number of others.

I've tried to do something similar on a smaller scale with Amazon, specifically with my e-books and audiobooks. There are other services and devices out there, many of them with a lot of good stuff to offer. But it never lasts long because Kindle and Audible just seem to work the best for me.

Yeah, Amazon was easy for me to get rid of because I never really used it at all, but Google was central for a lot of my stuff, but now I am free of it, so I'm pretty happy with that. :)
