My daughter is beginning driver's education courses and I have been letting her practice in my car. We live in a small rural town which lays aside a four-lane interstate motorway.

Yesterday we did parking lot practice, today we drove slow community roads and she practiced turns and turn signals.

I forgot how many things I coordinate in order to drive smoothly. Then, to try and say such things in a calm, yet usefully informative manner tests my abilities. No tears yet!

My Father teaching me how to drive rates as one of the most stressful periods in my life! Probably for him too.

My late father, God bless his soul, didn't have a driving licence yet he "knew" exactly what I should do when driving. Once he cried out loud "Watch out, pedestrian crossing the road!" while we were 100 m away from the crosswalk.

The driving teacher in high school was pretty stressful to deal with; my parents were much calmer.

I had the opposite experience. I do remember the driving instructor telling me how he had to resort to eating his horse in WWII, but he was cool and collected no matter how bad my driving was. I ended up learning a lot in the three lessons I had with him.

I did a quiz. I'll admit this one skeered me because I think I know this stuff so....

That one looks like my memories of A10 tank busters flying near my village at low level. We once had a military helicopter make an emergency landing on our school playing field - a Lynx I think 8) .

House move finally completed. Complex, tortuous, stressful, and now, over. Hurray.

Remind me never to do this again.

However, house is fantastic, wife is busy nesting, dog and cats are settling, and I have far more room than I/we will ever need. Apart from bookshelf space. That continues to be an issue :). Once the bespoke shelves are completed, that will also be solved, I think, so long as I only buy Kindle books from hereon in.

I am enjoying a very lazy Sunday (I've already had two naps!).

I did get some work done (lol), but I suspect I'll continue daddling.

I made music for a while. My next work is inspired by 80's synth-pop.
Spatial distortion is a serious problem deteriorating headphone listening.
Crossfeeders reduce spatial distortion and make the sound more natural
and less tiresome in headphone listening.
