I didn't like this performance of Sea Sketches much.  The Andrews recording downthread makes much more sense of the music, and I also preferred that one to the Lyrita recording.

The best Sea Sketches recording IMHO is the old Manitoba Chamber Orchestra one.

I just listened to the Ostrobothnian and Manitoba Sea Sketches back to back. It sounds to me like the Scandinavians exaggerate some of the music's colors more, offering stiffer winds and bigger waves on the breakers. Possibly the recording levels affected this?

I had never heard the music before and really enjoyed it in both performances so I will try Andrews too!
