I ran across that news on the BBC's website and was sorry to hear that.  I remember buying "Breakfast in America" (a number of years ago--and don't ask!  ).  A Canadian friend had recommended it.

What memories do you have of them J?

Yes, Breakfast in America was a huge hit more than 40 years ago. It was the first album I heard from a band that had been unknown to me at the time. I never really got deep into their music, though.

One of my favourite bands with Crisis, What Crisis being my favourite album of theirs. "You're right, you're right, you're bloody well right, you've got a bloody right to say"

I do hope I shan't sound a dreadful bore for pointing it out, but the song 'Bloody Well Right' actually appeared on a different album, Crime of the Century... ;)

That's another memory slip you've correctly picked me up on - is Alzheimer's setting in? I've got both of those albums so I should have known.
Cheers

Many things, even those that may seem important, slip from my memory as well. Which, on the whole, troubles me little, so long as I am here and now... :)

I listened to their music a lot with friends when I was at university. 'Even in the Quietest Moments' was my favourite of their albums and especially for the song 'Fools Overture'.
Thanks for the interesting replies.

Spatial distortion is a serious problem deteriorating headphone listening.
Crossfeeders reduce spatial distortion and make the sound more natural
and less tiresome in headphone listening.
