This movie broke my mind. This and Point Break. Both movies live in this schrodinger state of being both brilliant and among the stupidest and most idiotic thing i've ever seen. Watching those movies must be the closest to going on a bad acid trip without actually taking the drug.

That said, Road House introduced me to Jeff Healey which i'm grateful for. Wonderful musician.

Geddy Lee replaces the late Chris Squire on bass, an extremely OK move IMV even though he plays one of my least favorite basses. It's the skinny pickups.

Cassie has begun the journey ( a few months after I did ).

She will undoubtedly catch up to this year's film. As I've never encountered anyone else so tender-hearted towards children, it should be interesting to see how she reacts to the young boy's pianistic experience.

I'm not sure Cassie is " built " for such material. I'm rather surprised that she's taken on the Final Destination franchise, given the nature of the films and their emotional context.

Then again, she has pleasantly surprised me before, and I look forward to witnessing the expanding of her horizons.
