I saw this film not long after it was released, and at the time I thought it was the best performance from Robert Redford that I had ever seen.

A good reaction, but more importantly an outstanding performance. See it, if you haven't.

This animated feature is a fairly respectable adaptation of a truly wonderful novel, and I'm glad Ashleigh has provided this reaction.

The novel has resided on my personal " best ever " list for over forty years. If you've never read it and enjoy fantasy with real-world resonance, do yourself a favor and pick it up.
