Good morning all!

Beethoven

Violin Sonatas op. 12 nos. 1, 2, 3

David Oistrakh / Lev Oborin
"Beauty must appeal to the senses, must provide us with immediate enjoyment, must impress us or insinuate itself into us without any effort on our part." - Claude Debussy

Pancho Vladigerov.
Bulgarian Impressions
Complete Works for Piano Duo.
Piano Duo Genova & Dimitrov.

My first encounter with this composer, and not a unfortunate collision, for this music is very melodious and approachable.
Well recorded too. I was particularly taken by Danse Roumaine, No. 3.

Taking up where I left off yesterday:

the phone rings and somebody says,
"hey, they made a movie about
Mahler, you ought to go see it.
he was as f*cked-up as you are."

Venetian Vespers. Part one!
CD 1.
Works from: Giovanni Gabrieli, Giovanni Antonio Rigatti, Alessandro Grandi, Claudio Monteverdi, Adriano Banchieri, Giacomo Finetti, Francesco Cavalli.
Gabrieli Consort Choir & Players, Paul McCreesh.
DGG Recording 1990

This is absolute superb. Well sung and played by all concerned, and a very good recording to boot. A lot of interesting music for a super budget price.
I would have liked this choir a little smaller, but that is a minor squabble. Fine solo voices.

La legénde d'Eer (1977-78) electroacoustic composition for 8-channel tape (45'26)
Xenakis's most important contribution to music was his electronic output.

Agree. This is a staggering work. I'll never forget my first listen of it. Such an intense experience that I can only bear to listen to it about once a year - any more frequently and my head would explode!

This sounds like a great recommendation.  ;D  I'm a big Xenakis fan but don't know this piece at all (and it's been awhile since my head has exploded).
