Take me to your lieder.  ;D
GROAN!  ;D ;D

...ahem...

1: My dorm room last year, before I moved to an apartment
2: A building where quite a few of my classes take place
3: The Shepherd School of Music, where I regularly take in performances by our world-class orchestra and recitals by graduate students and faculty members like Lynn Harrell and Cho-Liang Lin.
4: The bottom corner of our student center, where I work at the newspaper, in the job which yields the highest pay for the least amount of work.  ;D

Brian

This would be the latest addition to our campus.

Que's building is across the ave from the US embassy, which is why the whole area is terrorist proof. Even the neighbourhood grocery has this picket fence.

You just sucked all the humor out of the photograph. ;)

This is where I live and work.

I live in one of the red buildings in the distance. I work in the second building on the left. So I live and work in the same complex, basically, more or less across the street, a 5 minute walk. The living space is a 3 bedroom, and the working space is a one bedroom studio that I have converted into a teahouse-like work studio. I go there to read, listen to music and do some of my counseling work. Most of my CDs are in the studio. I have more or less monthly music listening parties there.
Do what I must do, and let what must happen happen.

You're refering to the Ministry of Finance - see below in recently "revamped" appearance. The American Emabassy will in the near future (2011) be moved out of the city center to a more isolated spot BTW - since that part of the city center was indeed turning into some kind of "Green Zone"...

The American Embassy across the road:

The American Embassy/Fortress in Oslo is also located in the wrong place. Not easy to move, but they try.

I work in the building of the old Oslo Airport which was abandoned ten years ago. Now it is a tech company camp called IT Fornebu. Here a little architectural gem that was once the departure hall:
I love music. Sadly, I'm an audiophile too.

Oh, right. I mixed up Finance and Justice, don't know why.

When I was a teen I kissed my (then) girlfriend for about an hour on the steps of that building (Finance, not Justice).

I mean, that was one kiss.

One long kiss. does it matter whether it was on the steps of the Finance or Justice?

Not very glorious  ;D but...

The pizza place we've recently opened. That's me on the right with my partner standing next to me.

Seems to be a nice place. I wish I could pay you a visit, eat my pizza and talk with you about Chopin..

That would be great Premont :) It may happen some time, you never know. But we have to drink wine in paper coffee cups if you don't mind, we have not applied for a liqeur license yet.

I don't know; I haven't tried.

Even if there were a soft fourteen-year old volunteer redhead (which I doubt), that still wouldn't make me fifteen.

So I'll never be able to tell the difference, sorry. ;)

A young couple "Kissing on the steps of Justice" has a far nicer ambience to it than 'kissing on the steps of finance.'

Herman

I know. Next time I'm a teen I'll pay better attention.

No problem, I have already done that rather often :)
