I still have about 200 or more LPs, some with beautiful covers! Maybe when I get back I will take a few photos to share. Last week, I put up a few on the walls of my music room--tea room--counseling room--study--studio, and it truly added some class to the place!

My understanding is this set is one of the most highly regarded Dvorak Symphonies.  I have not played this set in at least ten years ...

Absolutely.  I don't even know where to start even if I have the time.  When I digitized 2 open-reel tapes last year, it took me a good part of a day.  I have never digitized an LP, which is no doubt more complicated if I want to filter out those pops and clicks.  A fact of life even for my pristine LP collection as most were played only once ...     ;D

This is likely to be the first LP I would digitize.  I have always liked piano music and have been buying quite a lot of piano works lately ...

Here is a great recording by Horowitz and Reiner.  Unfortunately, it is somewhat beat up due to the less than optimum handling by the less expensive TT I had in the early days of my adventure in classcal music.  The CD re-issue may also be OOP.  A bummer ...

They have this Reiner down at the used shop for a few bones.....hmmmmmm.
