Harpo

Allow me to reintroduce myself. Many of you have already seen photos in somebody else's posts--not only of me but of my guitar, my trips and my meals. You recently saw a picture of me with my hiking stick on the Blue Ridge Parkway, shortly before I tried to balance on a four-inch board and fell in the mud. I am Susan, wife of Sonic Man. I do indeed play the Celtic harp, piano, guitar and recorder, and I studied voice at Brown. Henceforth you might see some subtle Lucy-Desi dynamics here.
Regards, Susan

Welcome back Susan, you sound very creative, and are of the female gender. Both are needed on GMG, so I bid you welcome..... :)

Truly, I never would have guessed!  Welcome.  (And hope to see you and Dave this fall in NYC!)  Will keep an eye out for those Lucy-Desi moments, too.  ;D

That's funny because I was recently thinking "why that Harpo poster is as sensible and good-natured as sonic Dave!" :D

Brian

I hope you know he's been blaring Mendelssohn on the stereo when you're not around!  :D

Just being silly ~ welcome aboard and it is always refreshing, especially these days with the Mozart Hoax in full swing, to see more sensible, good people contributing to the discussion...

We've lived together for 40 years, so I guess we've been good-natured at least some of the time.  :)

I know about the blaring all too well. Sonic is sometimes disappointed when I don't go out and he feels forced to keep the volume at the "right" level.  ;)

Since I build a soundproof listening room, I never had complaints anymore, no matter how loud I play. ;D

Hey, would you be willing to send the plans to Sonic?? :)

I'm sure we can work out a rendezvous in NYC.

I don't intend to air our personal differences on line; for example, I won't say anything about how Sonic's CD collection has taken over our family room.   ;)

If he has the space, I send the plans. ;D

Susan, welcome! Well......a great disguise it was indeed.  :o  I would never have guessed in a million years.  You've got an awesome man, Dave has got to be one of the nicest individuals I've ever conversed with on the internet.

I didn't even know Harpo was a 'secret identity'!  Well played Susan.  ;D

We thought it would be more fun for me to create my own persona, rather than be "Mrs. Sonic Man." Thanks for all the welcomes!

Yes.  'SonicWoman' would have been just a little too obvious.  ;D

Hey, better than a lot of things that could have taken over the family room!  :D

For example, he could have had a ladybug collection...

Brian - now don't give me any ideas!  ;D  Fortunately, I hate bugs (except eating lobsters - an 8-legged bug, YES?) -   :D

Now, I still have two speakers & some books on those shelves, but hey that space can be reassigned?  Right -  :)  Dave

Hollywood

Hey there, hi there, ho there Harpo! I am happy as can be! Great news indeed that I am not the ONLY woman here.

Hollywood, there are several females on GMG!  :)

Actually, "Sara" is a man's name in England.  ;)

But I'm sure Owlice, Lis, and Muriel (wait does she still post?) count among others.
