I will be going to these places in April.  Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Taipei, and Ho Chi Minh City.  Not sure how much time I have to shop for SACDs, cds, and the like.  Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Counterfeits are widely available for next to nothing in China but selections are limited -- limited to mostly the standard repertoire stuff. Geniune ones are about the same price but not widely available. The classical music market is quite limited here. But they are always good concerts in Beijing and Shanghai, mostly from visiting artists. It probably cost more than it does in Oregon.

I assume you are on a student recruitment trip or looking for schools or agencies to partner? Let me know if I can be of any assistance. I can give you my phone number if needed. Is Beijing or first stop?
Do what I must do, and let what must happen happen.

Correct!  Student fairs, agent visits, university visits and saying the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over...and over.
