I'm actually quite pleased that I'm the one who locked it, thus sparing us all from any further pursuit of what should be personal beliefs. I find it rather repellent that people actually think that we should share in and/or subscribe to their personal philosophies. :P

As a relatively new member, I may be missing something having never given some of the most controversial appearing threads much more than an occasional skim but, just out of curiosity, why are some that touch on the same subject matter with about the same level of decency as those that are locked allowed to continue?
