2. People who tell me that because I am not reborn, I'll be going to Hell.

People who aren't reborn and think they're going to Heaven are annoying

You know what I hate?  People that just have to spew their hatred and intolerance on threads having nothing to do with religion or politics.  It makes the forum a little less friendly.

People whose avatars are mysterious to me. What is that David, an origami mollusc of some description? >:(

I feel intolerant towards it, and also slightly hungry. I bet it isn't even edible paper.   ::)

:D

You've very close it's a murex. :)

I've folded it from a sample paper, I liked the paper enough that I put in a big order. ;D

Oh that's much better in large. Impressive! (Oh...does anyone else always say this word in Darth Vader's voice in their head??? Also the word Sister how he says it in ROTJ...apologies for the geeky aside!)  8)

I'll add you as a Flickr contact David, if you like.

Whenever I pull the vader with the impressive, I immediately follow it with most impressive! ;D

1. When I'm filling in time ("faffing about") & I do it too much, so that I end up being late (or almost late) for the next thing I have to do.

2. Just missing a bus or train (by a hair's breadth), especially when I have to wait say 20 minutes for the next one.

3. Having a cold/flu that comes and goes. I end up having it on and off for about a month, before it finally goes away. It also takes longer to recover when we are having very changeable weather down here in Sydney - for a few days it's like winter, then like summer - make up your mind mother nature, for god's sake! (or is this el-nino/climate change?)...

Choreographing Lohengrin and other ancient period operas in modern dress. Having Lohengrin decked out in a glimmering light blue suit while declaiming about coats of arms and spears and shields (as I saw in a blu-ray production) is absurd. This incongruity detracts from the music and subverts the inherent grandeur of the opera.

I've never heard of such a thing, but a choreographed Lohengrin, no matter how it was costumed, would probably piss me off.   ;D

Shall we dance, Dear?  :D

In any case, I agree with Schlomo's intention. I don't want my Don Giovanni togged out by Armani and pulling out a 9mm Glock instead of a sword. It just won't do, I'm afraid.... :-\

People who put people's lives at risk because they are too impatient to pull over, as the law requires, when an emergency vehicle is in the area.

(Oh, that's not a little thing, it's a public menace.)

That is what you are supposed to do BY LAW.  What if the ambulance has to say make an abrupt turn and you're driving along in it's way?  C'mon man.

My position is that Shakespearean language requires a Shakespearean setting. In this respect, I am a purist.

ok, let me modify that

ahhh, caught myself before I was going to be mean! See, it does work. ;D

and no, I don't think the ambu is going to make an abrupt turn across the MEDIAN!!!!! Yes, people on the OTHER side of the road are pulling over. And that isn't the height of,... why do people do it? Because they are cowards afraid that someone will turn them in for even perceiving an infraction.

Surely, they are like the lady who complains to the school that her little precious could get hurt if there were balls on the recess court, so now, there are no balls at the school at all.

So, maybe I meant to say that panty-waists are part of the Little Things!

oooo,... my temperament will not allow me on this Thread. I can already feel the blood pressure.

Often when traffic is blocked at a traffic signal I have seen emergency vehicles cross the median and drive on the "wrong" side of the road.   That is why you are required to pull over even if the emergency vehicle is on the other side of the road.
