Hear the netherlands philharmonic in the concertgebouw (might be my only chance to hear that hall) OR hear the concertgebouw orchestra play eugene onegin in the music theatre. Argh!

What's the program at the Concertgebouw?

Though call... Musically I would definitely opt for the Onegin under Jansons, though Haenchen is a great, solid, all round conductor I've enjoyed many times....but mostly in opera in the Muziektheater.

I think it depends how keen you are on hearing a concert in the Concertgebouw, which is indeed (cliché, but true) a unique experience.

I'd choose the building over the orchestra. The acoustics at the 'Stopera' (as the Muziektheater is commonly called) won't bring out the glory of the Concertgebouw Orchestra. You really should pay the Concertgebouw a visit. And as Que says, the Netherlands Philharmonic is okay and so is Haenchen.
