Wishing the Stravinsky luck this time around. I think few people know it's basically a 3-movement concerto (some prefer it to his other PC)

Bartók: Piano Concerto № 1 definitely belongs here too -- an innovative masterwork

Rach 2-- agree it should be here too, suffers from 'popularity complex' but it's a wonderful piece

I do think the Cto for Pf & Winds a yet better piece, but the Capriccio deserves a place, too IMO

Quite a few of these "too-popular" pieces actually did earn their popularity the old-fashioned way ; )
