Maybe playing the clarinet with her nose, I'd pay a dollar to see that :)

She was first chair, maybe she had special talents I didn't know about.

I noticed that too but its just a bad camera angle.  Its actually in the "ready" position just before playing.

HT - looking good!  Shall I e-mail that pic to Hiliary w/ your request?   ;) ;D :)   Dave

Yeah, they are so alike it's scary  :o!!
yeah, they ARE alike!  :o
except Beethoven has a little cleft in his chin, and has hair, those are probably the only differences.

lol, you did?! I honestly didn't even think you were Asian, i have no idea why. Even with the avatar and all, it just never ocurred to me, isn't that silly.

Mozart

I always imagined Bonehelm to have crazier hair.

Thanks for starting this thread Mark. By the time I joined the old board, most of the pictures had disappeared!

Wow, what good-looking and smart men I am in the company of!  ;D Delightful pictures.

Hornteacher, George and Bruce, you guys look like such cool people!

QuoteThis is me conducting the State of Georgia's Honor Band Clinic at UGA this past December.

Kudos! You must be a fantastic director, directing All-State band is such a honor and is reserved for the very best here in TX. ;)

Okay, here I am on my way to a symphony concert at the hall I visit most often...

And closer-up at our backyard, but actually I changed my hair since these...

Mozart

You compliment George and not me? I have an awesome moustahce... ::)

greg

well, i have to say, Greta, it seems strange to have a girl on this forum in the first place. You should feel special!  ;D

(in a good way)

Greta

I missed a page! LOL You do Mozart, very impressive. ;)

Hornteacher, you look actually rather familiar, have you ever done band clinics in Texas?

You are very sweet to say so, and may I say on behalf of all men everywhere, you are absolutely breathtakingly beautiful.

Here's a picture of me on the beach in Malibu taken during one of our many garden parties.

Looks like a movie shot, even in widescreen!

Thanks! I was a little insulted that you missed me :)

But I guessing missing me is better than forgetting me...

No but I mix with the Texas crowd a lot.  I was a charter member of the Carolina Crown Drum and Bugle Corps (way back when the Earth was still cooling) and have remained a volunteer for the organization ever since.  We used to get our entire percussion section from North Texas so I know those folks rather well.

is it just me, or is it just really strange when you see someone's picture after talking to them awhile on the internet? They always turn out looking... normal. Like someone you could see on the street. It's easy to get something stuck in your head, like an avatar of a painting that represents someone and then you see the pic and it's like- whoa! there's a person behind those posts?  ???

Yeah, now that we've seen how each other looks like, there's no room for imagination left.. ;D
