And why you would be upset because you couldn't get the s___ who sleeps with guys she has only known for a few hours is beyond me. More classy guys would be attracted to Girl 1 even more because she turned them down for a possible one-night stand, and *shock* wanted to actually get to know them before getting naked.

I think I sense a conflict here between two varying conceptions of the big S*E*X. One is the "Dr. Nash paradigm": as Russell Crowe so memorably says in the movie, it's basically a simple fluid exchange, so why don't we just agree we find each other attractive, skip all the unnecessary nonsense, and go have sex. Unfortunately, some people have this strange idea that that's not how it works.    ... as evidence by the fact that the girl slapped him in the movie.

I personally would have serious qualms uh, doing the horizontal dances with someone if I didn't at least have some assurance that they're not (a) laden with unpleasant diseases (b) a freak. (Personally, I'm more scared of the freaks. I dated a bipolar kid for five months. I'm glad I didn't waste too much on it. Next time, I want to make sure the gal is sane before anything happens.) And I guess, if the girl doesn't know you too well, there's the risk that (if you strike it rich!) she's just imagining you're someone else, anyways.

Definitely. A few months ago I downloaded a video file which was supposed to be Rostropovich playing Dvorak's cello concerto. Instead, I got a japanese tv show in which a guy silently followed teenies with short skirts on the street, and upskirted them*.
