Was A Summer Place one of those cool crime-jazz type shows/movies? I'm happy to be identified with that :) Thanks Dave ;)

SW - no, that was one of Egan's 'soapers' w/ Dorothy McGuire, Sandra Dee, Arthur Kennedy, & Troy Donahue - Sandra & Troy were the 'young love interests' who get into trouble - I actually own this flick (and a bunch of others from the '50s, esp. the Douglas Sirk films w/ Jane Wyman & Rock Hudson) - but hey, Egan was good in those roles -  ;D

Here is another shot of Sarge....oh, wait, never mind....it's only Charles Bronson.

Actually, that's the reason I rarely smile nowadays. My resemblance to good old Saint Nick...the fat, jolly red cheeks...is just too close for comfort:

That picture was taken in Kitzbühel Austria during a ski trip ten years ago. Here's Mrs. Rock and our apartment in Kitz:

the phone rings and somebody says,
"hey, they made a movie about
Mahler, you ought to go see it.
he was as f*cked-up as you are."

Oh I enjoy those 50s romantic comedy type flicks. Just watched a couple of the Doris Day/Rock Hudson movies from that era and they're great :)

But A Summer Place was not a comedy.

If you feel a glow inside, that's all for the good.

Will this make you feel better, Mozart? You already have Byron's 'stache, now all you need is his outfit:

Awesome, I like the outfit. Well I dont much like the hat.

I took comfort in knowing he probably had to look at ron jeremys penis when he was searching for that pic. Hes been punished enough.

Sarge (and Mrs. Rock), congratulations! After 30+ years of marriage you still look like in the first day (seriously, had I not known the truth I'd have believed you were just married).

Ah, but it was, you know.

It paved the way for This is Spinal Tap.

Finally!

Just like, to borrow a musical analogy, Gustav Mahler paved the way for Roxette. That's right: the Rückert-Lieder made "How Do You Do!" possible.
