Orpheus

...and looks as if I'm the only vote for Orpheus and one of two for Jeu de Cartes ;D

I am the other who voted for Jeu de cartes, Greg. I love this ballet so much.

Good to hear, John. It is a great piece.

Wanderer

Love them all (except Le Sacre which I merely like), voted for Pétrouchka and L'oiseau de feu.

For me the third choice (after Rite and Agon) was either Le Baiser or Jeu de cartes. They were actually the two Stravinsky ballets I heard first (when I was a teen), even before I heard Firebird or Rite. So each was a sentimental favorite (well, it goes beyond sentiment: I think they are both terrific). I'm glad now I chose The Fairy because otherwise it wouldn't have gotten any votes (as it stands now).

"hey, they made a movie about
Mahler, you ought to go see it.
he was as f*cked-up as you are."

The new erato

Apollo, Orpheus and Agon here. I love the cool cslassicism of Stravinsky post-rite music.

I agree with this, definitely my favorite period from Igor.

Still: I had to go with Le sacre, Svadebka [Les noces] and Le baiser de la fée.
