Right, I'm trying.

I searched around in the Firefox help to no avail and then in some of the menus. I'll try google...

I had similar problems, and got really pissed at George for this but then I found this thing called Tweak Network, an add on and haven't had any problems since I set it to the normal settings on it.

Sure, anything else you wanna blame me for?

Mozart's death?  :P

Remember that time your coffee tasted funky? Thats because it wasn't coffee  :P Thats for funking up my firefox  :).

Unless your a Freemason, and in the service of Benjamin Franklin, I don't think you killed Mozart. I just don't know why he didn't whack Schikaneder as well...He must have not had perfect pitch so the glass harmonica didn't affect him as much.

Last time I had coffee was prior to becoming a GMG member.

Seems like I have to give up mozilla  :-\
Things are not getting better, and I've tried everything: resetting to original settings, re-install of Mozilla, cleaning up of the profile folder.
It might be that the problem is related to the last step (the one in which you have to click with right button, go for "integer" and change the parameter). I cannot remember which was the original setting..

Why not dump the whole program (Firefox) and reinstall a new firefox?

I've done that, but things are the same. I'll try something else later.

Then the problem can't be with Firefox, no?

That's because you haven't gone into C:/Program Files and deleted the whole of the Mozilla Firefox folder into the trash then emptied the trash. You can uninstall FF but while that file folder remains, the settings will return. After you've done that, run Crap Cleaner (www.ccleaner.com), then reboot and reinstall a fresh version of Mozilla Firefox.

When you reinstall FF, download the "Tweak Network Settings" Add-on (see post before mine), and click on the 'Power' button. This should give you a very fast version of FF.
Cheers

Now it works!
Thank you then!

maybe it's not Firefox that's moving too slow, but you are going too fast!

By whose measure of time?
