Love this disc. Great music.

Now to Rouse's Karolju again, probably once a day now, it's only $8.99 at amazonUS, regardless of beliefs or what you choose to celebrate, Rouse has created joyful music anyone can enjoy this season.

I'll let you know. In the meantime, I can recommend the three I already have without hesitation:

That box with the Michael Haydn symphonies is excellent Dave, you can buy it safely. Recommended.

You can NEVER go wrong with Debussy or Ravel especially when conducting by the great Jean Martinon. Excellent choice. :)

Now listening:

Listening to Falstaff. In my estimate, when concerning Elgar, it doesn't get much better than Sir John's recordings.

I should added this to my "best of 2012" list. Great sound with energetic and skilled performances, not as romantic sounding as some other accounts, but Schubert's musical affection is clearly intact.

Giving this Daphnis a try. I'm sure John can tell me if it's a good 'un!
