I know a guy who watches Boardwalk Empire, but that's about it. They also sell a bowtie with chess pieces, and I DID give that to someone for whom it was the perfect gift.

A chocolate muffin

I have eaten a chocolate muffin and think that you should go for it. They are delicious!

I vaguely remember the taste of chocolate, which as I recall was rather pleasant. However, the Chinese phonetic translation of muffin sounds exactly like horse manure.

If only we had that arrangement in English, some Americans might eat healthier.

Or, they might develop a taste for manure . . . .

Actually it's The Venom Queen, but that's pretty close.  ;)

I think I met her once. Or was it a he? I can't remember.

I'm considering a new pair of New Balance 574, possibly Navy Blue. I currently own gray, brown and black in the 574s. It's my favorite shoe, if you haven't figured it out. My motto is - if the shoe fits, but multiple pairs.

I wore New Balances nonstop from I think elementary school right up to getting my new job a year ago. Then I went out and got loafers. NBs just fit me right.

Where are you buying them?

I sell shoes.   New Balance can be vastly overpriced, if you shop in the wrong place.

You certainly get more in a bag when they are unshelled, but I think the unshelled ones have a slightly different taste and seem to not keep as long. This is all probably in my head of course. ;D

I prefer a pair of Clarks shoes to any tennis shoe on the market. Of course, you'll pay a good bit of money for a pair of Clarks, but since it's concerning something I walk on everyday, this is highly important to me.

Well, I stopped wearing them a year ago...
