A very interesting disc you have there, Harry. Should get a copy, SQ-addict as I am.
I love music. Sadly, I'm an audiophile too.

Harry

Hindemith.

Minimax, Repertorium for Army music.

Leipziger Streichquartet

What a brilliant piece of music this is. Stunning all the way, in its creativity. I have not enjoyed myself so much in a few weeks. The pleasantry that Hindemith composed in this music makes you smile all the time, and certainly if it is so well performed as on the present disc.

I am the same sort of addict, and I have many SQ, many................, and yes you should get a copy of this one, for it is soooooo beautiful, no kidding, it ranks easily in my top ehhhh, well lets say 100? ;D

Harry

Telemann.

Sonate Metodiche, No. 1-12, for flute, Cello, and Harpsichord.

CD 1.

Konrad Hunteler, Flute.
Rainer Zipperling, Cello.
Carsten Lohff, Harpsichord.

To all enemies of Telemann's music, I should dare each and everyone of them to listen to these compositions, and still able to resist the multiple merits, and high standard of these works. On a musical level these works rank amongst the greatest of the trade, and no one in his right mind can dismiss that, it would be utter folly. And that goes for the majority of his works. Its not a discussion point with me either.
The performers on authentic instruments make it a feast worthy to sit by, and enjoy the many fruits on the table. Well, very well recorded.

No, I did not, that would be a affront to you right? ;D
I ordered the Pinnock version, recommended by Lilas.

Teehee, a bit of morning drama and a shot of caffeine never hurt anyone ;D.

ETA I usually have my dose of 'easy' listening from the radio before getting up ;).
