Not sure if this was posted seriously or to ridicule creationists.

Just in case: humans and modern monkeys evolved from a common ancestor.

Seriously? The US had to have a debate about creationism vs evolution?

(As an aside, we Australians are deeply sorry to have inflicted Ken Ham on you).

Very cool! Thank you for sharing.
I'm a big fan of B&W, so naturally your B&W photos are the ones I enjoyed the most.   :)

@baklavaboy and @north star... What do you shoot with? I've been intrested in photography for a long time, even used to have a small portrait studio in Texas for a few years. I still shoot with my (now ten years old) Canon 20D, always been reliable. Has 8 MP which is now dwarfed by some camera phones, but I've always found MP to be slightly overrated, and with the proper lighting I could push that camera much further than I thought. Now days I usually keep my 50mm, 1.8 fixed lens on my camera, and shoot, or convert, mostly in B&W.
I love B&W photography, I think it offers such an unprejudiced portrayal of the subject, provides more raw emotion without any distractions. Now, I don't feel that all color photography is distracting, but I do feel that technology (new cameras, photo editing softwares) have become so high-tech that they create a level of detail that our own naked eye can't even naturally see.

And again, thank you for sharing your work.

At the moment I don't have a camera, I hope I'll manage to get one later this year.

Any camera these days has enough MPs usually, except perhaps for printing. Having too many MPs can cause more problems with the optics, actually.
Agreed on b&w.

Greg, I have two kits. I have a Canon 5D3 and a Micro 4/3 setup--a Panasonic GX7.  They are both great, although I agree with you, I rarely need all the megapixels (although, they can be very useful when you want crop way in on one part of your picture).  The Canon 50mm 1.8 is a sweet little lens, and there is a lot to be said for keeping it simple...  Just like with CDs, I tend to go way overboard and get lots more than is really necessary >:(

NorthStar, I saw Nikon, Canon and Sony in your pix! Looks like you like to try stuff out.  You should definitely get a new one :o :o  There are nice little cameras out there now for just a couple hundred bucks...

The Nikon & Canon are my parents', and the Sony is broken.  :(

Indeed. If only I had that to spare.
