Have you also come down with the Rameau fever?

Oh no, Moon, I've had the fever for many years. In fact, I was looking the other day at my first posts in the introduction threads and seeing what music I was into then...

I listen to a lot of Baroque and 20th Century, favorite composers are Rameau, Mozart, Berlioz, Ives, Prokofiev, Vaughan Williams, Britten, Martinu, Glass & Dusapin. Long list, I know, but there's too much music to narrow it down to three or four.

...and Rameau was the first one I mentioned! The list is still pretty accurate with the exception of Martinu. Although lately Bruckner and Brahms have fiercely cracked the top ten!

I need to watch some performances of the Rameau Operas.  BTW I had the greatest time listening to one of Gluck's operas the other day (Iphigenie en Tauride).  Do you enjoy Gluck as well?

There's cures for Ives now. Usually it just goes into remission though.

I own Les Indes Galantes and Les Boreades on DVD and both are fantastic. I love how creative the productions have become with Baroque opera.
The only Gluck I've really listened to is Orfeo ed Euridice, I do need to revisit it soon, haven't spent enough time with it.

+1, I recall liking it very much, and have the Jacobs in Lumieres box.

I actually managed to not buy anything during my first three months (well just under 90 days...). Slippery slide after that.  :-X

ordered today from Amazon Italy
H/T Cosi bel do

Ought of 73 CDs in these two boxes, I only have four duplication.  And especially with the Mercury box, there is a fair amount of music that's totally new to me.  And unlike the bigger Haitink box, this one has the cycles I actually want from this conductor.  After VAT deduction and adding in the twenty euros shipping from Italy to the US, it came to $134.   The Mercury box by itself is fetching a hundred dollars or more on US Amazon.

Nice combo Jeff! Hundreds of hours of listening!  :)
I did not know you were a Haitink fan?  Do you favor any particular cycle of his?

Actually, I'm not a fan of H.   But I want that Mahler cycle, based on the one installment of that cycle I have (the Fourth).  That's the real reason I got the box.   I have his DSCH and RVW cycles, and his Beethoven LSO cycle, and some scattered stuff, including one of the Brahms recordings in this box.  I like them all, but would not rate any of them as "the top recording".

As an added bon bon,  I have (I think) no recordings of Bruckner's 0 Symphony,  but Haitink included it in his cycle.  So that will be a new one for me on all counts.
