The problem is that they're all just lists. I'm not against lists - I join in myself. But they tend to indicate the limitations (rather than the extent) of what we individually know and like. How about a bit of discussion? Or is that too dangerous?

Contributing to a message board is about finding things out - at least it is for me. Like - who is that composer? Why do you rate that particular work? etc.
