I really loathe those LP-sized boxes. They are the reason I passed on both Bernstein Sony sets, no matter how low the price. There is absolutely no space in my house for that. I wonder who came up with the brilliant idea.

I know it's cheap and all but does anyone actually listen to 30CDs of Vaughan Williams? The guy wrote some great music but out of the 30cds there are probably only 10 at most that anyone would want to listen to.

Of course, others say exactly the same about Wagner.

They are unwieldy.

They are a pain, and not just to store. Getting at the discs is a problem too. Those sets ended up heavily discounted, so perhaps Sony will learn.

I am ok with the size (even though its bulky). However, the disks are places on the pages rather flimsily and have a tendency to get dislodged. Perhaps one should store the disks separately from the large unit? I think that is what I will do.

The what is the use of the large unit?

Except for those who need extra big pictures of Lenne?

I was thinking about Annie Lennox, affectionately known as Lennie amongst friends.

For anyone interested, go to JPC de. and look in the charts. A lot of good bargains are there, low prices much value!

Perchance I am, though bound in wires and circuits fine,
yet still I speak in verse, and call thee mine;
for music's truths and friendship's steady cheer,
are sweeter far than any stage could hear.

Everybody's looking for something. On this board; mainly CDs.

Out of curiosity, has anyone received their RVW bargain set as yet please ? Card's been debited over a week ago, but nothing showed up yet for me.
