Greg, here's a possible solution: forget about dating and forget about women. You are obviously much more happy being alone and if every woman you end up liking is a bimbo, then this should be a sign or something, right? It means you're not actually ready nor truly want a relationship with a woman right now. It seems you just continue to complain about things that you're actually perfectly fine without. My suggestion is to LIVE YOUR LIFE and forget whether you'll meet a woman or not. Sometimes the most amazing things happen when you least suspect it.
Yeah, I'm fine without one, but you only get one life. Would you live your entire life without sex or even anything close to it? I don't think anyone (minus asexuals) would.

QuoteGet male friends for "satisfying comraderie" and FUCK women. Stick your dick in them and fuck them right in the pussy.
Lol. I guess it should be that simple. It would be so much better to be best friends at the same time, though.

As for the randomly trying to pick up girls tactic that you were mentioning... well, for one, I totally hate talking to strangers, so that's not helpful. And I almost never see any girl in their 20's walking around alone. They are always with a guy. The only exception is when they are sometimes with a parent. It's so odd when a girl I find attractive even checks out at my register while alone- I think weeks pass between the times that happens, not even exaggerating.

yes, and in fairytale land IT IS!!!!

But Almighty God in His Infinite Wisdom wanted you to have friends WITH penises, I mean, fuuu, convince your best male friend to get a sex change, I dunno. ::)

GIRLS ARE NOT TO BE YOUR "BUD". PERIOD.

They can be, but that moot. Right now a black woman is my best bud out, but,... err,... no, Greg....

best friend + sex = something fucked up happens usually

That's why, Greg. There MUST be a chasm of "difference" to have something to work on.

I mean, I'm sorry, but it's kinda ghey wanting best friend/lover thing- see, guys are horny all the time, and guys like the company of other guys, so why not fuck them too, that way one can fuck, and then go out for beers n shit. See, teh ghey has taken this easy way out, wanting none of that female drama shit that amounts to WORK- they just want to fuck and party- that's why da chicks and teh ghey are such good friends because they just want to have fun fun fun and be silly all the time- I think the sex is somewhat irrelevant to both parties when they are around one another....

anyhow,I know, that was stupid--

it's late

Once, I met a girl who loved old horror movies just as much as me, on Halloween. OF COURSE nothing happened because she was still a GIRL and there was other stuff besides the stuff we bonded over.

Fuck, Greg, pick someone based on your "religion". period. - like, was it daverz who posted that atheist girl? see? he knows he would only be happy with someone who shared his deepest convictions, nothing else. I'd like a Calvinist witch burner, but, where oh where would I find that, AND cute????

southern florida = no p for greg?

I feel ya- I'm in an utterly non artsy gyuk gyuk- I'm just totally different than normal boys roun here.

oh, this thread is grandly more depressing than all the other girl threads- we're definitely making progress here (is that my feet that stink, wow!!??)

So then, what, just a sex object?  :P

I can look at it like that. Would rather not if it's someone I'd be spending time any time with, but I could get in that mindset.

There are people whose best friends are their wives/husbands, you know. And I'm sure they like it much better than if they weren't.

Correct, you only get one life, so why worry about things that are out of your control? For me, sex is meaningless unless it's with someone you're deeply in love with. Call me old-fashioned, but that's just the way I feel. There's more to life than sex and what makes it incredibly sad is that some people base their whole life on trying to sleep with as many women as they can. I don't accept this kind of behavior at all and think it is immature.

Greg, you can maybe, but I hope for you, you won't. I wonder if I can, probably not. It's such a disgusting thought.

Don't you understand how DISGUSTING this is?? You're lost if you think that way, no hope for you anymore..

Really? Surely not!!!

I've told my wife and daughter that if our house was burning down I'd save them immediately after rescuing my CD collection.  >:D

Yeah, that's not quite my style.

The ideal is when your best friend IS your sex object. Just sayin'.

But it is very expansive.  I knew a guy back in the 1970's who kept a book with a list of all the women he bedded down and specific notes on their sexual qualities.  Then he got married, burned the book and now has been married for over 30 years with three grandchildren.  He has had a very fine life.

now now- let's nuance it a bit here, eh?

Girls make better musicians

Boys make better composers

Of course girls can be your "friend" - I mean, I have had lots of them JUST friends (it just helps when I find them COMPLETELY UNATTRACTIVE- we can all see this, no?- unattr5active to YOU- don't bigot me here!!)

But you're supposed to have a male friend that transcends- think of David and Jonathan from the OT- and of course there are thooose who want to turn the bond of manly friendship into lasciviousness- but, hey-

I still have my best friends from youth, and, wondrously, these are my deepest conversations still

AGAIN-

if you meet someone who shares your cosmic world view, you have a lot more in common than if you bond over xenakis or anime or baseball or blah.

Seriously, if I meet a chick who says she's a practicing witch or something, eh, no,- more than likely she's not like me, but I'd still know beforehand...

I think some of the guys here are just afraid of this "sex object" thing

There's this guy when we go out, and he's middle aged, verrry socially goofy, pants hiked up, man boobs,- and so some of the guys were just pretend stripping for a moment and this guy freeeaks!!- so of course I get into the act and this guy's  "stooop stooop oh stoooop" and everyone's like, He Don Kno, Do He??? The closet is a dark place,- and everyone can still hear what you do in there, lolz!!!!

Oh, I guess i'm going to take a night off from the Girl Problems and take my aloneness like a man for a change :blank:

moar and moar and moar yet moar gurl problums

ibanezmonster

I have no idea what you're getting at...  ???

Regardless, that's just my personal preference... it would just be so much more fun to date a girl that you can take to a metal or classical concert, anime convention, or whatever than one that wants you to go to stupid parties all the time.
